The CITB 2 Day SMSTS Refresher Training course is for delegates who have previously passed the full five day SMSTS course. It aims to bring health and safety knowledge up to date, as well as giving a thorough overview of the legislative changes and their impact in the workplace. The course includes a wide range of topics many building on the previous five day course programme as well as introducing new subjects.

Developments in legislation, welfare an environmental issues.
Identifying measures that will assist the practical implementation of responsibilities established by new legislation and new working practices.
Qualifications
On completion of the course and successfully passing the core exercises and an end of course multiple choice examination the delegates will be awarded the CITB’s Construction Site managers safety Certificate.
Who Should Attend
The two day refresher course is for delegates who have previously passed the full five day SMSTS course. It aims to bring health and safety knowledge up to date, as well as giving a thorough overview of the legislative changes and their impact in the workplace. The original SMSTS qualification is valid for 5 years.
