“We still strongly recommend that the practical elements of FAW, EFAW and requalification courses are delivered face to face. This means that the competency of the student can be properly assessed” HSE 2021
As Covid 19 continues to impact all industries we have adapted to make sure that we keep our staff and clients safe, we follow HSE guidance and our clients can still achieve their learning objectives.
One of our key changes has been bringing in blended learning (also known as hybrid learning). It is a method of teaching that integrates digital media with traditional instructor-led classroom activities.
For our courses that means your initial learning takes place online, so you can learn at your own pace, fit the course around your schedule and reduce contact with other people. We then have the classroom work to teach you the practical elements , like CPR, and sit your exam. This means we are still meeting HSE criteria to give you a full qualification.
Watch the video above from our awarding body, Qualsafe, to get a better understanding of how blended learning works and the benefits for you and your business.
